Glass Pumpkin Event Wrap-up

Kudos to 10 fearless EAFA artists-in-action who demonstrated and exhibited their art to more than 2,000 visitors attending the Glass Pumpkin Event at Bellevue's Northwest Arts Center. Participating artists were: Helen Todd, Fran Velling, Marcella Diamond, Lyla Jacobsen, Adrienne Anderson-Smith, Jay Levey, McAlister Merchant, Karen McClelland, Kristin Morris, and Elaine Mahler.

This October 22nd event, co-sponsored by the City of Bellevue and Tacoma Glass Blowing, featured 3,000 colored glass pumpkins, food, and fun. EAFA artists re-a-l-l-y enjoyed showing off their artworks to young and old, meeting residents and potential patrons, as well as using the Center's newly installed Wi-Fi to display and promoted the art on their web sites.

Cheryl Hoople coordinated this event for us and made sure the artists were provided with everything they needed, including coffee and snacks!
