We need to find a new Membership Chair for EAFA.
What skills does the Membership Chair need?
You'll need computer skills, a willingness to interact with members, and the ability to learn new computer software (Quickbooks). A familiarity with databases would also be helpful, but not required.
What does the Membership Chair do?
You are the first contact with EAFA for many people. You'll field questions from potential members and help them to get enrolled in the organization. Their interaction with you should give them a positive view of the organization.
You'll create new member records in the Quickbooks member database, update existing member records with renewal payment information and make changes in member information. You must be able to enter information into the computer in a consistent manner. This makes for cleaner reporting, easier retrieval and improved readability. You'll also respond to questions about membership status from members and board members. You'll work with EAFA's website administrator and treasurer to make the data input interfaces more useful. You'll suggest changes to the database format based upon frequently recurring questions or needs for data.
The membership chair is an important position, and we’d love to have you help us out! Please contact Marilyn Ross at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
