President's Message - January 2012

linlamerEAFA President Lin La MerThe past year has been one of many rewards. Our membership has increased, we reworked our website, and we had a very successful rummage sale fund raiser. We also added new venues to the Public Art Program and participated in Arts Crush in both Bellevue and the Seattle Design Center. Our profile has been raised in the Puget Sound area; more people are aware of our organization and are interested in us. These are some of the positive things that have happened in the past year.

We also had the loss of some of our long time and beloved members. We mourn their passing and remember the joy they brought us and send blessings to their loved ones.

Here are my wishes for the coming year: I'd like to see continued growth in our membership, to have more people use the on line system to renew their membership, to take part in more community arts events, to see higher attendance at monthly meetings (we have wonderful programs every month), and to continue to provide the very best fellowship and opportunities to you.

I invite you to help EAFA to continue to move forward and embrace the future. We need to continue to change to remain viable as an organization. I look forward to a year full of reward and opportunity for all of us.

Lin La Mer
EAFA President
