Volunteers Needed

EAFA Seeks volunteer Webmaster

The EAFA website is a vital part of our organization, where members can check their current status, download the EAFA newsletter, enter juried exhibitions, and access other member services. Now, EAFA needs a new webmaster to replace Scott Moore, who will be resigning the position on October 31. Thank you, Scott, for all your hard work!

JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary function of the webmaster is to post new information and updates to the EAFA website as needed, including show announcements, prospectuses, the newsletter, images, and other information to be decided by the board. The webmaster receives updates and new data from a website coordinator, who acts as a single point of contact for board members who have information to be uploaded to the site. The webmaster also must coordinate as needed with EAFA board members or paid consultants who have direct responsibilities for the content of the website.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: The webmaster should have experience designing and/or maintaining a website and have a working knowledge of HTML and Cascading Style Sheets. The webmaster should also know how to locate and use forms and PHP scripts to create and maintain various features.

TIME COMMITMENT: The webmaster will spend an average of 8 - 10 hours a month performing such tasks as resizing images, copying and pasting text, formatting contributions, proofing, and scripting. Additional time may be required for meetings.

If you have the skills to serve as EAFA's webmaster, please contact Scott Moore at eafa@bellevuefineart.com.
