EAFA's
General Membership Meetings are held in the Highland Community Center on the third Thursday of each month.
The meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 pm.
The Highland Community Center, a log cabin style building, is located next to the YMCA at 14224 Bel-Red Road. There is plenty of parking and no long walks to the meeting room. Look for EAFA signs.

Directions from I-405:
Take NE 8th St exit east. Turn left at 40th Ave NE. Turn right on NE Bel-Red Road. Turn left two blocks up teh hill on to NE 20th Street, between the YMCA and Highland Center.
From SR-520:
Take 148th Ave. NE exit south. Turn right on NE Bel-Red Road. Turn right four blocks down on to NE 20th Street, between the YMCA and Highland Center.

EAFA RETURNS TO
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN IN SEPTEMBER!
Beginning September 2010, EAFA will once again
hold its monthly General Meeting at the
First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue.
It is located at 1717 Bellevue Way Northeast, nine
blocks north of Bellevue Square mall, near the
405/520 interchange. EAFA's monthly general
meeting will be held at the church's Upper Campus,
Rooms 105/106. Ample parking is available at the
lower parking lot. Members with limited mobility
can be dropped off at the entrance to the Upper
Campus, directly across from the meeting room,
but parking at the Upper Campus is restricted.

and upper campus floors. The EAFA board will
place signs to direct you to the meeting area.

EAFA’s 35th Poster
Competition at May Meeting
EAFA has agreed to host the 35th
Annual Open Juried Exhibition at
Meydenbauer Center, Bellevue, WA,
mid-October through mid-November.
Did you know that 35 is a pivotal
year for EAFA? Because of the show
dates, we will be holding a poster
competition at the May 20 meeting at
the same time as the monthly
competition. Right, there’s a poster
contest two months in a row, April for
the Members’ Show and May for the
Open Show.
Poster competition guidelines:
Preferred vertical format in proportion of
3 to 4, strong values, must be original,
and must be painterly, obviously not a
photograph. No nudity. Note: The Show
Committee selects the artwork for the
poster & has the right to crop the image,
if necessary, for publicity purposes.
