Election of EAFA Officers
EAFA Bylaws, Article IV, state that an annual meeting of the general membership shall be held in the month of May at such date, time and place as determined by the Board of Directors. The purpose of the annual meeting will be to elect the Officers, adoption of a preliminary budget and other business as determined by the Board of Directors. The recommended slate of officers is as follows:
President (2nd Term)- Charlette Haugen
Vice President - VACANT*
Secretary (2nd Term)- Kay Louise Cook
Treasurer - Sheila Dufford
Bookkeeper- Linda Applebaum

Nominating Committee Report

The main item of business at our May 15 Annual Meeting and Potluck is the election of new officers. A recommended slate for President, vice President, Secretary and Treasurer is included for your review and consideration.
While the bylaws require a vote by the membership for these positions, there are many other members of the Board of Directors who serve by virtue of their functional responsibilities or who are appointed by the Board or President. The entire Board of Directors is generally displayed on Page 2 of the newsletter. When the August newsletter is published, the new roster will contain a number of Board members who already serve plus the following new volunteers:
